While making the watercolors one of the children discovered a new painting technique and used her brush to splatter paint all over the large sheet of paper (and also the walls and a couple of children sitting nearby)! We decided to move the painting outside the following day so the artists could work freely and our Art Studio could keep its white walls.
Making pumpkin dog treats was a fun sensory activity. Since we usually eat the treats we bake, the bakers had to be convinced that the finished product should be saved for the sale. However, we did get to taste and smell the pumpkin and molasses. At Circle Time were excited to hear that the dogs have LOVED their treats!
