In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
- Albert Camus
Basking in the light of the winter sun the Pips are enjoying their transition into the winter solstice. As the moon phases pass they can hold onto these felted models to explore the month's shadows. Feeding the winter birds with seeds of frozen circles, the Pips embrace the cold. Warming up inside to tell shadow stories and prepare for the light festival by making lanterns. As all the new friends settle it they look to one another for laughs and partnership in games and sounds to create. Reflections on circle rings, mirrors, ribbons, and within themselves on their growth and accomplishments. Cheers to the New Year!
